Audi Q2 Review

Today, we are going to talk about the Audi Q2. We will make an examination on Q2 by using three main categories such as; The Features of the Audi Q2, The Fuel Consumption of the Audi Q2 and Does It Suit You? Before starting to the examination, I would like to give some general information about the Audi Q2. It is a five doored mini SUV which manufactured by German automobile manufacturer Audi. The main idea behind the Q2 model was the absence of a fresh mini SUV model among the SUV fleet of Audi.  It is assembled in Ingolstadt where Audi’s headquarters located. Q2 introduced in 2016 at Geneva Auto Show. After a successful debut, Q2 released for sale on worldwide. However, North America was the only place where Q2 not released for sale. It is designed by famous designer Marc Lichte.

The Features of the Audi Q2

Now, let’s talk about the features of the Audi Q2. We can start with the exterior design. Q2 has got a sharp and muscular body design which makes Q2 a sportive and classy SUV. Also, the iconic Audi grille design looks attractive at the front side of vehicle. Full LED head and tail lights gives a unique look to the Q2 when we compare it with the ordinary car designs. When we check out the interior design, the sophisticated interior LED Ambient Lightning System welcomes you with the different colours for different times of the day. This feature makes you feel fresh and positive when you get into the cabin and during driving. Moreover, the sportive seats which designed ergonomically for the comfort of the passengers, offers a comfortable and relaxing driving experience to the passengers and driver. The simplistic design and leather details also takes Q2’s interior design to another dimension which is pure luxury and quality. Audi considered technological advancements important throughout time. Q2 is carrying some marks about this idea. First, the MMI Radio Plus System allows you to connect your smartphone via Bluetooth and use hands free functions such as; Navigation, Making Calls and Messaging. On the other hand, some technological features which offers a safe driving experience, will satisfy your expectations. Systems such as; Hill Assist (which helps you to take off on a steep with a brake support to prevent back roll), Park Assistant (which helps you to park your Q2 by using the sensitive sensors which surrounding the vehicle) and Audi Active Lane Assist (which keeps your vehicle in true lane with minimal steering corrections) ensuring your safety while driving.

The Fuel Consumption of the Audi Q2

It is time to make some conversation about the fuel consumption of the Audi Q2. We will focus on the engine types and we are going to examine them for a proper fuel consumption analysis. We will use two main categories for this examination such as; The Most Economical One and The Most Powerful One. Audi Q2 has got four standard engine type which are; 1.0 TFSI, 1.4 TFSI, 1.6 TDI and 2.0 TFSI. We are going to start with the most economical one which is; 1.6 TDI. It is a four cylindered, 1598 cm3 sized, Diesel type engine which produces 116 Horsepower and 3250 RPM Torque. According to the official factory data, 1.6 TDI has got a 4.9lt/100km (which refers to 58 MPG in UK) fuel consumption rate in Urban usage. However, this MPG rate decreasing to 4.1lt/100km (which refers to 69 MPG in UK) in Extra Urban usage such as; Highways and Long Distance Trip. When we gather these two official data, we get a 4.4lt/100km (which refers to 64 MPG in UK) average fuel consumption rate. Secondly, let’s talk about the most powerful one which is; 2.0 TFSI Quattro S-Tronic. It is a four cylindered, 1984 cm3 sized, Petrol type engine which produces 190 Horsepower and 4200 RPM Torque. 2.0 has got a 7.9lt/100km (which refers to 36 MPG in UK) MPG Performance in Urban usage. Nevertheless; this fuel efficiency increasing to 5.1lt/100km (which refers to 55 MPG in UK) in Extra Urban usage. When we combine these two data, we get a 6.1lt/100km (which refers to 46 MPG in UK) average MPG rate

Does It Suit You?

If you ask me I would like to say a big yes! Audi Q2 is not a huge, slow and heavy SUV. It is just the opposite. Q2 is a quick, sportive, fuel efficient and well designed mini SUV which gets all the attention on the street when it passed by. If you are looking for a SUV to use in daily life practically, Audi Q2 just for you!
