Audi > Q7 WLTP, MPG, Fuel consumption

Select the motor type for the year.

In this review, we will examine the Audi Q7, which has made Audi one of the most known brands in the field of SUVs for years. As with all our reviews, we will evaluate this model under three main headings. These titles are The Features of the Audi Q7, The Fuel Consumption of the Audi Q7, and Does It Suit You? Before starting the review, let's take a brief look at the history of the Audi Q7. It was first introduced to the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2005. Q7 has a remarkable place in Audi history. The biggest reason for this situation is that the Q7 model is the first SUV released by the Audi brand. This four-door SUV, the production of which began in the Bratislava facilities of Volkswagen Group, has gradually become one of Audi's flagships in the SUV market.

The Features of the Audi Q7

Audi has maintained its line of car design in the industry for years. This line goes through making attractive cars that reflect Audi quality on the road and the environment. Audi succeeded in applying this philosophy to every model it produces, and it has managed to increase the design level of the Q7 to a higher level over the years. While the current Q7 generation is called "4M", it has developed on the MLBevo platform that belongs to Volkswagen Group. While the exterior design of the vehicle has done by a design team led by Wolfgang Egger, it is an indisputable fact that they did a great job. Although there is no radical change in the general lines of the car, Audi's iconic front grille design draws attention to its modernization in this design as in every generation. Sharper body lines are more aggressive than previous generations, while chrome details add prestige to the car. If we come to the interior design, we can see the German quality with all its lust, as always. The front console of the Q7 is almost like the control panel of a space shuttle. There are three digital displays in this area that take advantage of all the blessings of modern technology. The first is the digital dashboard, which is now in most of the upper segment cars. The other two screens have reserved for climate control and multimedia system in the centre console. Also, piano black and chrome details on the other parts of the console look very stylish. The air vents of the air conditioner are designed in one piece with perfect harmony, while the steering wheel looks much more dynamic and sportier than the steering wheel of many standard sports cars. Finally, Audi does not surprise us as a brand that always uses technology for the comfort and safety of the user. Q7 embodies many advanced technological innovations. Q7 protects the driver from any sudden collisions with Pre-Sense Technology, while technical software such as Head-Up Display, Parking Assistant and City Assistant maximizes both the safety and comfort of passengers.

The Fuel Consumption of the Audi Q7

Now, we are going to focus on the fuel consumption of the Audi Q7. We usually work on popular engine types and making analyses on them by checking details for an efficient fuel consumption analysis. While choosing the right car, you need specific and simple information. We use two main categories to make a useful distinction such as The Most Economical One and The Most Powerful One. However, we analysed the most beneficial engine type on this review for Audi Q7 which is 3.0 TDI. It is a six cylindered engine structure with a 2967 cm3 size. It is using a Diesel feed fuel system so we can say that it is a Diesel type engine. It can produce 231 HP and 3250 RPM Torque. According to the official factory data, 3.0 TDI has got a 7,0lt/100km (which refers to 40 MPG in the UK) fuel consumption in Urban usage. However, this fuel consumption rate decreasing to 6,0lt/100km (which refers to 47 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage such as Highways or Long-Distance Trip. When we combine these two fuel consumption data, we get a 6,0lt/100km (which refers to 47 MPG in the UK) average consumption performance.

Does It Suit You?

To make a general comment about the Audi Q7, it is perfect! While Audi's SUV segment cars are usually slightly higher-priced, you can be sure it will be worth the money you give. It is attractive in terms of design, it is the best type of materials used, and its performance is extremely sufficient for an SUV. It is superior in terms of security with its technological advantages and durable structure. After all, only a pleasant driving experience is left to say.
