Ford Ranger Review

In this review, we are going to take a closer look at the Ford Ranger. We will examine the details about the Ford Ranger under three main categories such as The Features of the Ford Ranger, The Fuel Consumption of the Ford Ranger and Basic Characteristics of Ford Ranger. These categories prepared for explaining the vehicle from any perspective. Before beginning the review, I would like to share some general information about the history of the Ford Ranger. The new generation Ford Ranger, also known as the T6, is a Mid-size pick-up truck manufactured by the American-based automaker Ford Motor Company since 2011. Ranger, which was first introduced to the public at the Australian International Motor Show, still strengthens Ford's presence in the pick-up market with its different variations. Ranger's production continues in five different countries, and its two and four-door options are also available on the market.

The Features of the Ford Ranger

In this part of the review, we are going to focus on the features of the Ford Ranger. We can start with the exterior design of the Ford Ranger. When we look at the exterior of the Ford Ranger, we cannot say that it is a pick-up designed for off road. The new generation Ranger offers a multifunctional use in many areas. The suspensions, which are kept high in terms of design, carry a very strong and robust body. When the rigid body lines meet with stylish body details, it can become both a sporty off-road vehicle and a stylish city pick-up. The front grille is reminiscent of the F models in Ford's Heavy Duty series, while the wide headlights and effective fog lights provide the driver with a perfect view. In addition, the Ranger's 1.3 tonne loading capacity makes it the perfect carrier. This is a very important advantage in transporting various cargoes. Now, we are moving on to the interior design of the Ford Ranger. When we look at the interior design of the Ranger, we see that a very simple and unflattering design concept has been chosen. Ford's design team seems to put emphasis on efficiency and ease of use rather than showiness. While the screens inside the cabin provide the flow of information with maximum efficiency, the control mechanisms, which are very easy to use, keep all the attention on the road. The Ranger, whose interior is quite spacious for a pick-up, ensures that you do not feel too shaking even on the bumpy road conditions with its ergonomic seats.

The Fuel Consumption of the Ford Ranger

Now, we are going to focus on the fuel consumption of the Ford Ranger. We usually work on popular engine types and making analyses on them by checking details for an efficient fuel consumption analysis. While choosing the right car, you need specific and simple information. That is why we are using this distinction method to make things easier for you. We use two main categories to make a useful distinction such as The Most Economical One and The Most Powerful One. Ford Ranger has got two standard engine varieties such as 2.0 TDCi and 3.2 TDCi. We are going to analyse two of them as the most economical and the most powerful one. We can start with the most economical one which is 2.0 TDCi. It has got a four cylindered engine structure with a 1997 cm3 size. It is using a Diesel feed fuel system so we can say that it is a Diesel type engine. It can produce 130 HP and 3200 RPM Torque. According to the official factory data, 2.0 TDCi has got a 6,0lt/100km (which refers to 47 MPG in the UK) average mpg performance. Now we will focus on the most powerful engine, which is 3.2 TDCi. It has got a four cylindered engine structure with a 3198 cm3 size. It is a Petrol Type Engine which produces 200 Horsepower and 3000 RPM Torque. 3.2 TDCi has got a 10,0lt/100km (which refers to 28 MPG in the UK) fuel consumption in Urban usage. On the other hand, this MPG rate decreasing to 7,0lt/100km (which refers to 40 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage. When we gather these two fuel consumption data, we get an 8,0lt/100km (which refers to 35 MPG in the UK) average fuel consumption data.
