Select the motor type for the year.

In this review, we are going to talk about the Ford C-Max. We will focus on the details about the Ford C-Max under three main categories such as; The Features of the Ford C-Max, The Fuel Consumption of the Ford C-Max and Does It Suit You? These categories prepared for explaining the vehicle from any perspective. Before beginning the review, I would like to share some general information about the history of the Ford C-Max. It is a Compact MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle), which has been manufacturing by the American automobile manufacturer Ford Motor Company since 2003. Ford needed an MPV Class vehicle to have a wider MPV fleet for the customers. As a result of that, the C-Max model has been born. The vehicle was developed under the code name C214 and later became C-Max. Although Ford launched the vehicle as a variation of Focus, it later became a separate model. C-Max, which has got a history of four generations, is still produced today.

The Features of the Ford C-Max

In this part of the review, we are going to focus on the features of the Ford C-Max. We can start with the exterior design features of the Ford C-Max. The new generation C-Max seems to have a very different design compared to previous generations. First of all, Ford's design team seems to have applied the new grille design to the C-Max. This grid design is much larger and more remarkable than the previous ones. It is possible to see this design in all new-generation Ford models. Also, the compact and sporty body design makes the C-Max a very dynamic and modern vehicle compared to previous models. However, don't let this statement fool you, the C-Max is still an ideal vehicle for your family. The biggest proof of this statement is the sliding rear doors. This door system makes getting in and out of the vehicle very practical, while at the same time adding a remarkable appearance. Now, we are moving on to the interior design features of the Ford C-Max. The cockpit of the vehicle has been designed to be quite spacious and comfortable. Every fine detail is processed with high quality materials. In addition, all of the vehicle's control mechanisms and display screens are carefully positioned to ensure maximum efficiency for the driver. Lastly, one of the biggest advantages of the interior design is the huge sunroof. Thanks to the sunroof, the C-Max receives much more sunlight than a standard vehicle. Thus, all the people in the car feel very relaxing and positive. Finally, we will check out the technological features of the Ford C-Max. The SYNC Applink Infotainment System, which located in the center of the console, is the most important social feature. Thanks to this system, the C-Max can easily meet all the needs of a driver or passenger. At the same time, many innovative technologies such as the automatic parking system and the cross-point warning system increase driving safety considerably. As if all these features were not enough, the intelligent tailgate technology provides a very practical daily use.

The Fuel Consumption of the Ford C-Max

Now, we are going to focus on the fuel consumption of the Ford C-Max. We usually work on popular engine types and making analyses on them by checking details for an efficient fuel consumption analysis. While choosing the right car, you need specific and simple information. That’s why we are using this distinction method to make things easier for you. We use two main categories to make a useful distinction such as; The Most Economical One and The Most Powerful One. Ford C-Max has got six standard engine varieties such as; 1.0, 1.5, 1.5 TDCi, 1.6, 1.6 LPG and 2.0 TDCi. We are going to analyse two of them as the most economical and the most powerful one. We can start with the most economical one which is; 1.5 TDCi. It has got a four cylindered engine structure with a 1499 cm3 size. It is using a Diesel feed fuel system so we can say that it is a Diesel type engine. It can produce 105 HP and 3600 RPM Torque. According to the official factory data, 1.5 TDCi has got a 4,3lt/100km (which refers to 66 MPG in the UK) MPG Performance in Urban usage. However, this MPG Rate decreasing to 3,5lt/100km (which refers to 81 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage such as; Highways or Long Distance Trip. When we combine these two MPG data, we get a 3,8lt/100km (which refers to 74 MPG in the UK) Average MPG Rate. Now we will focus on the most powerful engine, which is; 1.5 EcoBoost. It has got a four cylindered engine structure with a 1498 cm3 size. It is a petrol type engine which produces 182 Horsepower and 5700 RPM Torque. 1.5 has got an 8,9lt/100km (which refers to 32 MPG in the UK) fuel consumption in Urban usage. On the other hand, this fuel consumption performance decreasing to 5,1lt/100km (which refers to 55 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage. When we gather these two fuel consumption rates, we get a 6,5lt/100km (which refers to 43 MPG in the UK) average fuel consumption rate.

Does It Suit You?

Ford C-Max is one of the best vehicles you can buy. It can be used as a multi-purpose vehicle, as well as a very comfortable vehicle with a large internal volume. It is a very attractive car with its technological features and economical engine structure.
