Toyota Aygo Review

In this review, we are going to take a closer look at the Toyota Aygo. We will examine the details about the Toyota Aygo under three main categories such as The Features of the Toyota Aygo, The Fuel Consumption of the Toyota Aygo and Basic Characteristics of Toyota Aygo. These categories prepared for explaining the vehicle from any perspective. Before beginning the review, I would like to share some general information about the history of the Toyota Aygo. It is a City Car that has been produced by the Japanese automaker Toyota since 2005. The name of the automobile is formed by the combination of words that symbolize the individual's own freedom. Aygo was introduced to the public for the first time at a special event held in Geneva in 2005 and attracted attention in the City Car market. Although it is planned to replace the Toyota iQ model with its two-generation history, it has not increased its popularity much.

The Features of the Toyota Aygo

In this part of the review, we are going to focus on the features of the Toyota Aygo. We can start with the exterior design of the Toyota Aygo. When we look at the exterior design of the car, a modern design concept suitable for daily use has been created. Aygo has a very sporty look compared to a City Car, which makes it a sympathetic and attractive car. One of the simplest examples could be the colour options the car has. It has such vibrant and dynamic colours that your energy inevitably rises with the car. Its small and useful design also solves problems such as parking and manoeuvring for you in daily city life. The front image of the car is striking with the design details created on a huge X. The lines of the X running along the body make the car aesthetically interesting. The rear side of the car has a very minimal and purposeful design. Now, we are moving on to the interior design of the Toyota Aygo. Actually, there is not much to say about the interior design of the car. As with most cars in the City Car segment, Aygo has a simple and user-oriented interior design. While the driver follows the details about the car from a single-piece dashboard in front of him, the small multimedia screen in the middle provides information about other details. In addition, the colour palette used outside the car is used in the same way inside the cabin, making the atmosphere of the cabin spacious and energetic. Finally, if we talk about the width of the cabin, it can be said that it offers a very comfortable travel experience compared to a small car.

The Fuel Consumption of the Toyota Aygo

Now, we are going to focus on the fuel consumption of the Toyota Aygo. We usually work on popular engine types and making analyses on them by checking details for an efficient fuel consumption analysis. While choosing the right car, you need specific and simple information. That is why we are using this distinction method to make things easier for you. We use two main categories to make a useful distinction such as The Most Economical One and The Most Powerful One. However, in our database Toyota Aygo has got only one engine type such as 1.0. We are going to analyse the 1.0 with all details. We can start with the engine size of the 1.0. It has got a three cylindered engine structure with a 998 cm3 size. It is using a Petrol feed fuel system so we can say that it is a Petrol type engine. It can produce 72 HP and 6000 RPM Torque. Thanks to the power of the engine, the car's 0-100 km/h time is 13 seconds. The maximum speed level is 160 km/h. Although it is not a powerful engine in terms of performance, it is more than enough for daily use. According to the official factory data, 1.0 has got a 4,0lt/100km (which refers to 71 MPG in the UK) mpg performance in Urban usage. However, this fuel consumption rate decreasing to 3,0lt/100km (which refers to 94 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage such as Highways or Long-Distance Trip. When we combine these mpg data, we get a 4,0lt/100km (which refers to 71 MPG in the UK) average mpg performance.
