Volkswagen Jetta Review
In this review, we are going to focus on one of Volkswagen's best-selling and most important models. It is Volkswagen Jetta. We will focus on the details about the Volkswagen Jetta, under three main categories such as; The Features of the Volkswagen Jetta, The Fuel Consumption of the Volkswagen Jetta and Does It Suit You? By using a categorized classification, we can provide effective information about the vehicle. Before beginning the review, I would like to give some general information about the history of the Volkswagen Jetta. It is a Compact Class Car, which is manufacturing by the German automobile manufacturer Volkswagen Group. It made his debut at the 1979 Frankfurt Auto Show. Jetta, which has a history of seven generations, is still being produced today. Over time, Jetta had many names like Atlantic, Bora, Vento and Classico. Although these names look pretty good, Jetta has always been the most popular.
The Features of the Volkswagen Jetta
In this part of the review, we are going to focus on the exterior design of the Volkswagen Jetta. Current generation design was introduced by Volkswagen at the 2018 North American International Auto Show. The new generation of Jetta is larger and tougher than previous generations. This may be the result of the exterior design built on the MQB foundation. The biggest feature of the exterior design that has changed from past to present is the hardened body lines. These lines make Jetta sportier and more aggressive. When we look at the front design of the vehicle, the front grille design has expanded considerably and gained a more modern look. Now, let’s step into the Volkswagen Jetta’s interior design. The interior of the vehicle has a very stylish design. The black color provides a high quality and classy look, while the fine metal details match it. Also, the entire infotainment system and basic system controls in the cabin, are perfectly positioned for the driver to operate effectively. Finally, we can talk about the details on the technological features of the Volkswagen Jetta. First of all, the vehicle is technologically advanced. In the new generation Jetta, instead of the traditional dashboard, the digital dashboard, which is one of the greatest blessings of today's technology, has been replaced. In addition to that, the infotainment system provides all the information you need with the support of Apple Car Play or Android Auto. Furthermore, the customizable cabin lighting system takes the cabin atmosphere to a very different dimension. Along with these flashy features, the Jetta has many technological features to enhance driving comfort and safety. These features include blind-spot monitoring, light assist, lane assist, adaptive cruise control and rear cross-traffic alert.
The Fuel Consumption of the Volkswagen Jetta
Finally, we are going to focus on the fuel consumption of the Volkswagen Jetta. We usually work on popular engine types and making analyses on them by checking details for an efficient fuel consumption analysis. While choosing the right car, you need specific and simple information. That’s why we are using distinction method to make things easier for you. We use two main categories to make a useful distinction such as; The Most Economical One and The Most Powerful One. Volkswagen Jetta has got four standard engine varieties such as; 1.2 TSI, 1.4 TSI, 1.4 TSI Hybrid and 2.0 TDI. We will analyze just two of them as the most economical and the most powerful one. Let’s start with the most economical one which is; 2.0 TDI. It has got a four cylindered engine structure with a 1968 cm3 size. It is using a diesel feed fuel injection system. So, we can say that it is a diesel type engine. It can produce 150 HP and 3500 RPM Torque. According to the official factory data, 2.0 TDI has got a 4,9lt/100km (which refers to 58 MPG in the UK) MPG Performance in Urban usage. However, this fuel consumption rate decreasing to 3,7lt/100km (which refers to 76 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage such as; Highways or Long Distance Trip. When we combine these two MPG Rate, we get a 4,1lt/100km (which refers to 69 MPG in the UK) average fuel consumption. Secondly, we are going to focus on the most powerful engine, which is; 1.4 TSI Hybrid. It has got a four cylindered engine structure with a 1395 cm3 size. It is using a hybrid system which has got both petrol and electricity sources. So, we can say that it is a hybrid type engine which produces 170 Horsepower and 5000 RPM Torque. 1.4 TSI Hybrid has got a 4,4lt/100km (which refers to 64 MPG in the UK) fuel consumption in Urban usage. On the other hand, this fuel consumption performance decreasing to 3,9lt/100km (which refers to 72 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage. When we gather these two MPG data, we get a 4,1lt/100km (which refers to 69 MPG in the UK) average MPG Rate.
