Hyundai Elantra Review
In this review, we are going to take a closer look at the Hyundai Elantra. We will examine the details about the Hyundai Elantra under three main categories such as The Features of the Hyundai Elantra, The Fuel Consumption of the Hyundai Elantra and Basic Characteristics of Hyundai Elantra. These categories prepared for explaining the vehicle from any perspective. Before beginning the review, I would like to share some general information about the history of the Hyundai Elantra. It is a Compact Car manufactured by South Korea-based automaker Hyundai since 1990. Elantra is one of the most important models Hyundai has, as one of the old models of the brand, with its seven-generation history. When it started to be developed under the name of J1 Project, a car that would stand out in the European market was created. Before 2000, the automobile could be found in many different names on the market, but after 2001 the name Elantra was determined as the only nameplate.
The Features of the Hyundai Elantra
In this part of the review, we are going to focus on the features of the Hyundai Elantra. We can start with the exterior design of the Hyundai Elantra. When we look at the exterior design of the car, we see a concept where very regular and geometric shapes come together harmoniously. This design concept makes the car look extremely modern and interesting. These kinds of interesting designs, which we are generally familiar with from electric cars, are abundant within Hyundai. The vibrant colours used on the car are particularly striking and distinguished in traffic. In addition, the huge front grille design at the front is one of the characteristic features of the car. Now, we are moving on to the interior design of the Hyundai Elantra. When we look closely at the interior design, we see one of the classic cabin concepts of the Hyundai brand. Dark colours prevail throughout the cabin. These dark colours are illuminated by the blue colour used in technological screens and dashboard. While the multimedia screen in the centre console provides general information flow, the dashboard in front of the driver is one of the old-fashioned manual instrument panels. Finally, the spacious interior and ergonomic seats offer a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience.
The Fuel Consumption of the Hyundai Elantra
Now, we are going to focus on the fuel consumption of the Hyundai Elantra. We usually work on popular engine types and making analyses on them by checking details for an efficient fuel consumption analysis. While choosing the right car, you need specific and simple information. That is why we are using this distinction method to make things easier for you. We use two main categories to make a useful distinction such as The Most Economical One and The Most Powerful One. However, in our database Hyundai Elantra has got only one engine type such as 1.6. We are going to analyse the 1.6 with all details. We can start with the engine size of the 1.6. It has got a three cylindered engine structure with a 1591 cm3 size. It is using a Petrol feed fuel system so we can say that it is a Petrol type engine. It can produce 127 HP and 155 Nm Torque. Thanks to the power of the engine, the car's 0-100 km/h time is 10 seconds. The maximum speed level is 200 k /h. Although it is not a powerful engine in terms of performance, it is more than enough for daily use. According to the official factory data, 1.6 has got an 8,0lt/100km (which refers to 35 MPG in the UK) mpg performance in Urban usage. However, this fuel consumption rate decreasing to 5,0lt/100km (which refers to 56 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage such as Highways or Long-Distance Trip. When we combine these mpg data, we get a 6,0lt/100km (which refers to 47 MPG in the UK) average mpg performance.
