Opel Mokka Review

In this review, we are going to take a closer look at the Opel Mokka. We will examine the details about the Opel Mokka under three main categories such as The Features of the Opel Mokka, The Fuel Consumption of the Opel Mokka and Basic Characteristics of Opel Mokka. These categories prepared for explaining the vehicle from any perspective. Before beginning the review, I would like to share some general information about the history of the Opel Mokka. It is a Crossover SUV manufactured by the German automaker Opel. Mokka, which is also sold under the brand names Vauxhall and Buick, first appeared in 2012. The origin of the name Mokka, given to the car, comes from the coffee beans of the Arabica type. The automobile attracts attention as one of the important models of the Opel brand in the Crossover SUV segment with its two-generation history.

The Features of the Opel Mokka

In this part of the review, we are going to focus on the features of the Opel Mokka. We can start with the exterior design of the Opel Mokka. When we look at the exterior design of the car, we can see that the Mokka has a very compact design compared to an SUV. The automobile shows that it is from the Crossover SUV segment with its design details. The LED Matrix headlights at the front provide an extremely effective lighting and create a very aesthetic appearance. The classic headlight frame shape and grille structure preserve its place in the new generation Mokka. Dynamic body lines make the car a much more mobile car while saving it from being a bulky vehicle. Now, we are moving on to the interior design of the Opel Mokka. The layout created in the interior design of the car is very useful and simple. The feeling of German quality throughout the cabin will make you feel safe and comfortable. Although most control mechanisms are manual, they are very minimal and easy to use. While the multimedia screen in the centre console allows both the driver and passengers to receive continuous information flow, the spacious interior and ergonomic seats offer a comfortable travel experience.

The Fuel Consumption of the Opel Mokka

Now, we are going to focus on the fuel consumption of the Opel Mokka. We usually work on popular engine types and making analyses on them by checking details for an efficient fuel consumption analysis. While choosing the right car, you need specific and simple information. That is why we are using this distinction method to make things easier for you. We use two main categories to make a useful distinction such as The Most Economical One and The Most Powerful One. Opel Mokka has got four standard engine varieties such as 1.4, 1.4 LPG, 1.6 and 1.6 CDTI. We are going to analyse two of them as the most economical and the most powerful one. We can start with the most economical one which is 1.6 CDTI. It has got a four cylindered engine structure with a 1598 cm3 size. It is using a Diesel feed fuel system so we can say that it is a Diesel type engine. It can produce 110 HP and 4000 RPM Torque. According to the official factory data, 1.6 CDTI has got a 4,4lt/100km (which refers to 64 MPG in the UK) mpg performance in Urban usage. However, this fuel consumption rate decreasing to 3,7lt/100km (which refers to 76 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage such as Highways or Long-Distance Trip. When we combine these mpg data, we get a 4,0lt/100km (which refers to 71 MPG in the UK) average mpg performance. Now we will focus on the most powerful engine, which is 1.4. It has got a four cylindered engine structure with a 1399 cm3 size. It is a Petrol Type Engine which produces 152 Horsepower and 5600 RPM Torque. 1.4 has got an 8,6lt/100km (which refers to 33 MPG in the UK) fuel consumption in Urban usage. On the other hand, this MPG rate decreasing to 5,6lt/100km (which refers to 50 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage. When we gather these two fuel consumption data, we get a 6,7lt/100km (which refers to 42 MPG in the UK) average fuel consumption data.
