Renault Kadjar Review

In this review, we are going to take a closer look at the Renault Kadjar. We will examine the details about the Renault Kadjar under three main categories such as The Features of the Renault Kadjar, The Fuel Consumption of the Renault Kadjar and Basic Characteristics of Renault Kadjar. These categories prepared for explaining the vehicle from any perspective. Before beginning the review, I would like to share some general information about the history of the Renault Kadjar. Kadjar is a Crossover Compact SUV produced by the French automaker Renault. The car, which was first produced in 2015 and introduced to the public at the 2015 Geneva Auto Show, was a move by the Renault brand to increase its weight in the Compact SUV class. The car is brought together in two different countries and then offered for sale. Production of the automobile is still continuing.

The Features of the Renault Kadjar

In this part of the review, we are going to focus on the features of the Renault Kadjar. We can start with the exterior design of the Renault Kadjar. When we look at the body design of the Kadjar, we can clearly see that it has a very dynamic structure compared to an SUV class car. Instead of hard and sharp lines, the design team preferred a curved body structure that looks more aesthetic and sympathetic. This allows the Kadjar to draw more attention in traffic than other SUVs, while providing a much more eye-catching and attractive design. The front grille features a modern design with the logo in the centre of most of the new generation Renault models. This design is supported by wide headlights and sporty fog lights. Since the car carries the same platform as the Nissan Qashqai, it is a fact that some details on the body are similar. Now, we are moving on to the interior design of the Renault Kadjar. When we look at the interior design of the car, unfortunately, we see that it does not promise much. The cabin of Kadjar, which has the classic Renault design concept, is quite plain and simple. The most important advantage of the cabin, which does not give much space to complicated controls or advanced technological details, is that this simple layout makes the cabin useful. While the multimedia screen and air conditioning controls in the centre console fill the center, the digital instrument panel in front of the driver has segmented screens reminiscent of the old-fashioned instrument panel instead of a single-piece display.

The Fuel Consumption of the Renault Kadjar

Now, we are going to focus on the fuel consumption of the Renault Kadjar. We usually work on popular engine types and making analyses on them by checking details for an efficient fuel consumption analysis. While choosing the right car, you need specific and simple information. That is why we are using this distinction method to make things easier for you. We use two main categories to make a useful distinction such as The Most Economical One and The Most Powerful One. Renault Kadjar has got two standard engine varieties such as 1.5 dCi and 1.8 dCi. We are going to analyse two of them as the most economical and the most powerful one. We can start with the most economical one which is 1.5 dCi. It has got a four cylindered engine structure with a 1461 cm3 size. It is using a Diesel feed fuel system so we can say that it is a Diesel type engine. It can produce 115 HP and 3750 RPM Torque. According to the official factory data, 1.5 dCi has got a 4,0lt/100km (which refers to 71 MPG in the UK) mpg performance in Urban usage. However, this fuel consumption rate decreasing to 4,0lt/100km (which refers to 71 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage such as Highways or Long-Distance Trip. When we combine these mpg data, we get a 4,0lt/100km (which refers to 71 MPG in the UK) average mpg performance. Now we will focus on the most powerful engine, which is 1.8 dCi. It has got a four cylindered engine structure with a 1749 cm3 size. It is a Diesel Type Engine which produces 150 Horsepower and 4000 RPM Torque. 1.8 dCi has got a 5,0lt/100km (which refers to 56 MPG in the UK) fuel consumption in Urban usage. On the other hand, this MPG rate decreasing to 4,0lt/100km (which refers to 71 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage. When we gather these two fuel consumption data, we get a 4,0lt/100km (which refers to 71 MPG in the UK) average fuel consumption data.
