Peugeot 207 SW Review

Peugeot 207 SW is a Supermini Car that was started to be produced by the French automaker Peugeot in 2006 and ended in 2014. The car was designed to replace the 206 model, which was discontinued by Peugeot, and received positive feedback from the public. The car is generally built on the PSA PF1 platform and has a sportier structure than its predecessor 206 in terms of design. The assembly of the car is carried out in facilities in France, Spain, Slovakia, and Iran. Compared to the standard 207, the car does not have radical changes in terms of features. As we can see from its name, it is a model that is only released as the Station Wagon version of a standard 207. One of the most important features of the car is that it offers very practical solutions for large families and daily use thanks to Peugeot 207 SW large trunk volume.

The technical specifications and fuel consumption of the Peugeot 207 SW are our focus in this section. In this regard, we need to talk about details such as the engine options and fuel consumption of the Peugeot 207 SW. However, while talking about these details, we limit the engine options under two categories in order not to bore you. These categories are; The Best Fuel-Economy and Most Popular engine options. Peugeot 207 SW has three standard engine options such as 1.4, 1.6, and 1.6 HDi. First of all, we can say that in terms of fuel consumption efficiency best engine option is 1.6 HDi. It is a four-cylindered engine with a 1560 cm3 size. It is an engine that uses diesel fuel feed system. It can produce 92 horsepower and 4000 RPM torque. According to the official factory data, 1.6 HDi has got a 5,5lt/100km (which refers to 51 MPG in the UK) mpg performance in Urban usage. However, this mpg rate decreasing to 3,7lt/100km (which refers to 76 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage such as Highways or Long-Distance Trip. When we combine these mpg data, we get a 4,4lt/100km (which refers to 64 MPG in the UK) average fuel consumption. Now let's focus on the 1.6, the most popular engine. 1.6 has got a four cylindered engine structure with a 1598 cm3 size. It is using Petrol feed fuel system and it produces 120 Horsepower and 6000 RPM Torque. 1.6 has got an 8,5lt/100km (which refers to 33 MPG in the UK) fuel consumption in Urban usage. On the other hand, this fuel consumption rate decreasing to 5,2lt/100km (which refers to 54 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage. When we gather these two fuel consumption data, we get a 6,4lt/100km (which refers to 44 MPG in the UK) average mpg data.
