Kia Ceed Review

In this review, we are going to take a closer look at the Kia Ceed. We will examine the details about the Kia Ceed under three main categories such as; The Features of the Kia Ceed, The Fuel Consumption of the Kia Ceed and Does It Suit You? These categories prepared for explaining the vehicle from any perspective. Before beginning the review, I would like to share some general information about the history of the Kia Ceed. It is a Compact Class Car, which has been manufacturing by the South Korean automobile manufacturer Kia Motors since 2006. The first Kia model, which has designed and manufactured in Europe, is Ceed. Thus, Kia has developed a strong model to be sold in the European market. It has got a three-generation history. The first generation of the model was produced in 2006. The original concept design was created by Pontus Fontaeus.

The Features of the Kia Ceed

In this part of the review, we are going to focus on the features of the Kia Ceed. We can start with the exterior design of the Kia Ceed. The current generation of the Ceed has been introduced at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. When we look at the vehicle, we can say that the Kia design team has done a very good job on the vehicle. Thanks to its renewed appearance, the new generation Ceed has more aggressive and sporty body lines when we compare with previous generations. Satin black cut grille and projection-type halogen headlights add dynamism to the vehicle. Also, the LED taillights make the vehicle recognizable under all circumstances. All these features combine on an aerodynamic body. Now, let's take a look to the interior design of the Kia Ceed. Ceed has a very spacious and impressive cabin design. It seems like the designers used this spacious cabin very efficient. Every detail in the cabin seems to have been planned. Especially the gear control paddles on the steering wheel look very nice. Also, all controls on the center console are driver oriented. So, the driver can control all the details about the car without distractions. Moreover, the colors used in the cabin are suitable for the character of the vehicle. Finally, we are going to talk about the technological features of the Kia Ceed. First of all, all the technological features of the new generation car models are also available in Kia Ceed. Electronic Stability Program, Brake Assist System, Anti-Skid System and many more features offers a safe driving experience. Also, many features such as Cruise Control, Reversing Camera, Driving Modes and ISG (Start & Stop) bring comfort level to the top.

The Fuel Consumption of the Kia Ceed

Now, we are going to focus on the fuel consumption of the Kia Ceed. We usually work on popular engine types and making analyses on them by checking details for an efficient fuel consumption analysis. While choosing the right car, you need specific and simple information. That’s why we are using this distinction method to make things easier for you. We use two main categories to make a useful distinction such as; The Most Economical One and The Most Powerful One. Kia Ceed has got three standard engine varieties such as; 1.0, 1.4 and 1.6. We are going to analyse two of them as the most economical and the most powerful one. We can start with the most economical one which is; 1.6 CRDi DCT7. It has got a four cylindered engine structure with a 1598 cm3 size. It is using a Diesel feed fuel system so we can say that it is a Diesel type engine. It can produce 136 HP and 4000 RPM Torque. According to the official factory data, 1.6 CRDi has got a 4,0lt/100km (which refers to 71 MPG in the UK) fuel consumption rate in Urban usage. However, this MPG Performance decreasing to 4,0lt/100km (which refers to 71 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage such as; Highways or Long Distance Trip. When we combine these two MPG data, we get a 4,0lt/100km (which refers to 71 MPG in the UK) average consumption rate. Now we will focus on the most powerful engine, which is; 1.6 CRDi Eco. It has got a four cylindered engine structure with a 1598 cm3 size. It is a Diesel Type Engine which produces 136 Horsepower and 4000 RPM Torque. 1.6 has got a 4,0lt/100km (which refers to 71 MPG in the UK) fuel consumption in Urban usage. On the other hand, this MPG Rate decreasing to 3,0lt/100km (which refers to 94 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage. When we gather these two fuel consumption data, we get a 4,0lt/100km (which refers to 71 MPG in the UK) average MPG data.

Does It Suit You?

Aesthetically, Kia Ceed is a very attractive car. The body design is quite interesting and unique. In addition, every detail in the vehicle is designed for maximum comfort. So, every time you get into Ceed, you'll experience a very comfortable atmosphere. Last but not least, the Kia Ceed is a very economical vehicle in its class. That means a budget-friendly car! To sum up, the Kia Ceed is a pretty good car with an average price tag and performance.
