Subaru Outback Review

In this review, we are going to take a closer look at the Subaru Outback. We will examine the details about the Subaru Outback under three main categories such as The Features of the Subaru Outback, The Fuel Consumption of the Subaru Outback and Basic Characteristics of Subaru Outback. These categories prepared for explaining the vehicle from any perspective. Before beginning the review, I would like to share some general information about the history of the Subaru Outback. The Outback is a Station Wagon car that Japanese automaker Subaru has produced since 1994. The car, which has two different versions, was developed on another model of Subaru, the Legacy. While the car is one of Subaru's most established models with its six-generation history, it also finds ways to improve itself in its segment every year. The sixth and new generation of the car, which appeared in 2019, was introduced at the 2019 New York Auto Show.

The Features of the Subaru Outback

In this part of the review, we are going to focus on the features of the Subaru Outback. We can start with the exterior design of the Subaru Outback. When we look at the exterior of the car, we see that it has a very high and bulky design compared to a standard station wagon. The biggest reason for this is that the designers created the body of the car with a concept that is a mixture of Station Wagon and Crossover. Although there are no radical changes compared to previous generations, some important details highlight the renewed face of Outback. The chrome grille detail and slim daytime LEDs at the front make the car's face look very good. Besides, the small touches on the design of the taillights made the rear look much sportier and more dynamic. When we look at the body lines, we can say that an aerodynamically efficient airflow wraps the Outback and provides good handling. Now, we are moving on to the interior design of the Subaru Outback. We can say that one of the most important points where the new generation Outback makes a difference is interior design. The design team, which made radical changes in interior design compared to previous generations, equipped Outback with today's technology. First of all, the colour options preferred for interior upholstery are simply magnificent. The interior upholstery, offered in tan and dark colours, takes the car to the next level in terms of atmosphere. Other than that, the interior arrangement of the car is no different from premium class cars. Chrome details make the interior look very stylish. The huge multimedia screen on the centre console offers both the control mechanisms and social applications of the car. Thus, Subaru, which saves a lot of space, also gets an extremely beautiful result in terms of aesthetics.

The Fuel Consumption of the Subaru Outback

Now, we are going to focus on the fuel consumption of the Subaru Outback. We usually work on popular engine types and making analyses on them by checking details for an efficient fuel consumption analysis. While choosing the right car, you need specific and simple information. That is why we are using this distinction method to make things easier for you. We use two main categories to make a useful distinction such as The Most Economical One and The Most Powerful One. However, we have got only one official engine data about the Subaru Outback. It is 2.5 engine type. We are going to analyse it with all details we can give. We can start with the general engine structure of the 2.5i Lineartronic. It has got a four cylindered and four valved inner structure with a 2498 cm3 size. It is using a Petrol feed fuel system so we can say that it is a Petrol type engine. The engine’s acceleration timing is 10.0 seconds and the maximum speed level is 198 km/h. It can produce 175 HP and 5800 RPM Torque. According to the official factory data, 2.5i has got an 8,0lt/100km (which refers to 35 MPG in the UK) fuel consumption performance in Urban usage. However, this MPG performance decreasing to 6,0lt/100km (which refers to 47 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage such as Highways or Long-Distance Trip. When we combine these two fuel consumption data, we get a 7,0lt/100km (which refers to 40 MPG in the UK) average fuel consumption rate.
