Jaguar XJ Review

Jaguar XJ is a Full-Size Luxury Car that was started production by British automaker Jaguar Cars in 1968 and continues production until 2019. The car, which has a total of four main generations, has been kept up to date in terms of design until 2019, with various facelifts within these generations. The latest generation of the car, designed by Ian Callum and Giles Taylor, was first introduced to the public in 2009. The exterior of the car has an extremely rich concept in terms of aesthetics that fully reflects the Jaguar brand. A smooth body line covers the vehicle from top to bottom, while LED headlights and minimal chrome details make the car even more eye-catching. Looking at the interior design, a very modern and technologically adequate cabin layout welcomes us. There is a multimedia screen in the cabin where dark tones are preferred. In addition, parts such as the digital instrument panel provide practical use, while the manual clock in the middle and similar details in the cabin make you feel Jaguar quality.

Jaguar XJ Technical Specifications and Fuel Consumption

The technical specifications and fuel consumption of the Jaguar XJ are our focus in this section. In this regard, we need to talk about details such as the engine options and fuel consumption of the Jaguar XJ. However, while talking about these details, we limit the engine options under two categories in order not to bore you. These categories are; The Best Fuel-Economy and Most Popular engine options. Jaguar XJ has three standard engine options such as 3.0, 3.0 V6 Diesel, and 3.0 V6 Kompressor. First of all, we can say that in terms of fuel consumption efficiency best engine option is 3.0 V6 Diesel. It is a six-cylindered engine with a 2993 cm3 size. It is an engine that uses diesel fuel feed system. It can produce 300 horsepower and 4000 RPM torque. According to the official factory data, 3.0 V6 Diesel has got a 7,0lt/100km (which refers to 40 MPG in the UK) mpg performance in Urban usage. However, this fuel consumption rate decreasing to 5,2lt/100km (which refers to 54 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage such as Highways or Long-Distance Trip. When we combine these mpg data, we get a 5,7lt/100km (which refers to 49 MPG in the UK) average mpg performance. Now let's focus on the 3.0 V6 Kompressor, the most popular engine. 3.0 V6 Kompressor has got a six cylindered engine structure with a 2995 cm3 size. It is using Petrol feed fuel system and it produces 340 Horsepower and 6500 RPM Torque. 3.0 V6 Kompressor has got a 13,6lt/100km (which refers to 21 MPG in the UK) fuel consumption in Urban usage. On the other hand, this MPG rate decreasing to 7,6lt/100km (which refers to 37 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage. When we gather these two fuel consumption data, we get a 9,8lt/100km (which refers to 29 MPG in the UK) average fuel consumption data.
