Land Rover Range Rover Velar Review

In this review, we are going to take a closer look at the Range Rover Velar. We will examine the details about the Range Rover Velar under three main categories such as The Features of the Range Rover Velar, The Fuel Consumption of the Range Rover Velar and Basic Characteristics of Range Rover Velar. These categories prepared for explaining the vehicle from any perspective. Before beginning the review, I would like to share some general information about the history of the Range Rover Velar. Velar is a Compact Luxury Crossover SUV manufactured by the UK-based company Jaguar Land Rover under the brand name Land Rover since 2017. The car's name Velar was used for a prototype series produced in the past but came to life in 2017. The car was introduced to the public with a special promotional show held at the London Design Museum and attracted a lot of attention, especially with its design. The car is assembled in the UK again and put up for sale in the next process. Although it has a single generation, Velar has become a model that leaves a mark in the SUV segment for the Land Rover brand.

The Features of the Range Rover Velar

In this part of the review, we are going to focus on the features of the Range Rover Velar. We can start with the exterior design of the Range Rover Velar. The exterior design of the car is one of the most concrete examples of the new design concept that the Land Rover brand has switched to with the Evoque model. We are talking about a car that was created with modern and curved lines and decorated with uniquely harmonious details as a masterpiece of art. The car was designed by Gerry McGovern and has been integrated into one with Land Rover's design team. Velar has a special aerodynamically designed design. The body lines are quite smooth and control the air perfectly. Door handles have automatic folding feature for both safety and not to spoil this smooth surface. In addition, Matrix Laser LED headlights take the look of the car to a different level in terms of aesthetics. Now, we are moving on to the interior design of the Range Rover Velar. If we look at the interior design of the car, we see a very simple but equally equipped cabin layout. Every detail in the cabin is made of the finest materials and represents the prestige of the Land Rover brand. In addition, the cabin is well equipped technologically. Inside, there are two 10-inch high resolution touch screens. You can access both the multimedia screen and the basic car control mechanisms from these screens. At the same time, details such as customizable ambient lighting and Head-Up Display allow Land Rover Velar to offer you a comfortable travel experience.

The Fuel Consumption of the Range Rover Velar

Now, we are going to focus on the fuel consumption of the Range Rover Velar. We usually work on popular engine types and making analyses on them by checking details for an efficient fuel consumption analysis. While choosing the right car, you need specific and simple information. That is why we are using this distinction method to make things easier for you. We use two main categories to make a useful distinction such as The Most Economical One and The Most Powerful One. Range Rover Velar has got two standard engine varieties such as 2.0 and 3.0. We are going to analyse two of them as the most economical and the most powerful one. We can start with the most economical one which is 2.0. It has got a four cylindered engine structure with a 1999 cm3 size. It is using a Diesel feed fuel system so we can say that it is a Diesel type engine. It can produce 180 HP and 4000 RPM Torque. According to the official factory data, 2.0 has got a 5,0lt/100km (which refers to 56 MPG in the UK) combined mpg performance as average fuel consumption. Now we will focus on the most powerful engine, which is 3.0. It has got a six cylindered engine structure with a 2995 cm3 size. It is a Petrol Type Engine which produces 380 Horsepower and 6500 RPM Torque. While the car can accelerate from zero to hundred kilometres in 5 seconds, its maximum speed is 250 km/h. 3.0 has got a 9,4lt/100km (which refers to 30 MPG in the UK) combined fuel consumption as average fuel economy.
