Lada Vesta Review

In this review, we are going to take a closer look at the Lada Vesta. We will examine the details about the Lada Vesta under three main categories such as The Features of the Lada Vesta, The Fuel Consumption of the Lada Vesta and Does It Suit You? These categories prepared for explaining the vehicle from any perspective. Before beginning the review, I would like to share some general information about the history of the Lada Vesta. Vesta is a compact car model produced by the Russian-based automobile manufacturer AvtoVAZ. Vesta, which was first introduced at the 2014 Moscow Motor Show, moved on to the mass production phase the following year. The Vesta project, which has been created to bring a fresh automobile model to the Russian automotive industry in general, has received various awards as one of Russia's best-selling models.

The Features of the Lada Vesta

In this part of the review, we are going to focus on the features of the Lada Vesta. We can start with the exterior design of the Lada Vesta. The exterior design of the car is very suitable for the compact class. The body structure built on the Lada B / C Platform carries modern lines. The design is very suitable for many environments and has a dynamic structure. Bearing the traces of Asian brands such as Hyundai and Kia, the car draws attention with its simple details. While the chrome details in various regions look very aesthetic, the body lines are smooth and unified on the body. Now, we are moving on to the interior design of the Lada Vesta.  When we look at the interior design, we see that Lada designers are trying to do a lot of work with less cost. It can be said that they are successful in this regard. In the centre console, we see a sufficient multimedia screen, although not too large. Also, the instrument panel and air conditioning controls are manually integrated into the cabin. Although the embroideries made on metal strips at various points of the cabin raise the aesthetic level of the cabin design, the overall design is quite standard. Finally, Vesta incorporates various technologies required by modern times such as EBD, ESC and Hill Start Assistant. In this sense, it is at a technologically reasonable level.

The Fuel Consumption of the Lada Vesta

Now, we are going to focus on the fuel consumption of the Lada Vesta. We usually work on popular engine types and making analyses on them by checking details for an efficient fuel consumption analysis. While choosing the right car, you need specific and simple information. That is why we are using this distinction method to make things easier for you. We use two main categories to make a useful distinction such as The Most Economical One and The Most Powerful One. However, we have got only one official engine data about the Lada Vesta. It is 1.6 engine type. We are going to analyse it with all details we can give. We can start with the general engine structure of the 1.6. It has got a four cylindered and four valved inner structure with a 1596 cm3 size. It is using a Petrol feed fuel system so we can say that it is a Petrol type engine. The engine’s acceleration timing is 14.0 seconds and the maximum speed level is 180 km/h. It can produce 106 HP and 5800 RPM Torque. According to the official factory data, 1.6 has got an 8,0lt/100km (which refers to 35 MPG in the UK) fuel consumption performance in Urban usage. However, this MPG performance decreasing to 5,0lt/100km (which refers to 56 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage such as Highways or Long-Distance Trip. When we combine these two fuel consumption data, we get a 6,0lt/100km (which refers to 47 MPG in the UK) average fuel consumption rate.

Does It Suit You?

To sum up, the Lada Vesta is definitely not a luxury or premium car. However, it is definitely an affordable car with its fuel consumption data and sales price. At the same time, the interior and exterior design features are very modern and up to date. If you are looking for an affordable car that looks stylish and has low fuel consumption, Lada Vesta is for you!
