The eight generation of this Small Hatchback car is coming with a new 3 cylinders engine.

Engines

The 2018 Fiesta comes up with three types of engines. The most impressive one is the 1.0 EcoBoost, petrol, delivering an impressive power ranging from 100 HP to a staggering 140 HP. The other engines equipping this car is the petrol 1.1 Liters (70 – 85 HP) and the diesel 1.5 TDCi (85 HP – 120 HP). All of these engines come with a rather low consumption of fuel.

3 Cylinder Revolution

Even the size of the engine went down to 3 instead of 4 cylinders; it seems that there is more torque and more power to add for this particular Fiesta. As well, the CO2 emissions for the 1.0 140 HP engine went down to an impressive 102g/100km. The top speed is up to 202 km with an acceleration of 9.0 seconds. These are impressive numbers for such a small car.

New Style for the Fiesta 2018

Due to its redesigned shapes and a body comforting 3 or 5 doors, the new Ford Fiesta 2018, has better looks and a stylish design. The cars new Sync 3 infotainment system, along with the 8 inch touchscreen, gives the car a new technological look, making it more fun and comfortable to drive.

New Technologies

The new technologies adopted by Ford, like the Parking assistant, the adaptive cruise control or the lane keeping system creates a new standard in the car industry. The New Fiesta comes up at a car with these technologies integrated for a greater security and safety.

Another great update in matter of technologies is the new traffic sign recognition. This feature scans the road ahead and the signs appear on the instrument cluster.

The Fiesta’s Blind Spot Information System, using a Radar system, helps by lighting a small led in the mirror for incoming traffic that is not visible. As well there is in place now a Cross Traffic Alert which gives warning by sound.

It seems that the Ford developed its new Fiesta model with better materials in mind especially in the ST-Line and Titanium models. The Fiesta 2018 St-Line creates a dynamic and fun environment where the Titanium brings up leather and other high quality materials.
