The Features of the Porsche Macan
In this part of the review, we are going to focus on the exterior design of the Porsche Macan. In terms of the technical infrastructure, Macan built on the highly modified and changed the first-generation Audi Q5. It is a Luxury Crossover SUV, when we compare Macan with the other members of the family such as; Cayenne, we can say that it is more compact and sportive. When we take a look at the front grille design of the Macan, it is larger than the other Porsche models. It makes Macan look more aggressive but also attractive. In addition to that, the classical clam hood design adding the classic Porsche elegance to the Macan. At the backside, it looks like Porsche applied the new generation brake light set to the Macan too. The line configuration on the brake lights providing futuristic characteristics to the vehicle. Now, let’s step into the Porsche Macan’s interior design. When we get into the Macan’s cabin, you can feel like an airline pilot. The 3D design features of the Macan’s cabin, aiming to provide maximum efficiency and practical usage to the driver and the passengers. Many small details such as the watch on the center console and the thin iron strips take the cabin atmosphere to the peak point. The materials used in the cabin are very high quality. Finally, let’s talk about the observations on the technological features of the Porsche Macan. The main attraction point of the technological features is the Porsche Communication Management System, which has got a huge “10,9 Touchscreen with a High Definition Resolution. Also, the Bose Surround System creating a studio-quality musical environment inside the car.
The Fuel Consumption of the Porsche Macan
Now, we are going to focus on the fuel consumption of the Porsche Macan. We usually work on popular engine types and making analyses on them by checking details for an efficient fuel consumption analysis. While choosing the right car, you need specific and simple information. That’s why we are using this distinction method to make things easier for you. We use two main categories to make a useful distinction such as; The Most Economical One and The Most Powerful One. Porsche Macan has got four standard engine varieties such as; 2.0, 3.0, 3.0 D and 3.6. We are going to analyse two of them as the most economical and the most powerful one. We can start with the most economical one which is; 3.0 D. It is a six cylindered engine structure with a 2967 cm3 size. It is using a Diesel feed fuel system so we can say that it is a Diesel type engine. It can produce 258 HP and 4000 RPM Torque. According to the official factory data, 3.0 D has got a 6,7lt/100km (which refers to 42 MPG in the UK) MPG Performance in Urban usage. However, this MPG Rate decreasing to 5,7lt/100km (which refers to 49 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage such as; Highways or Long Distance Trip. When we combine these two MPG data, we get a 6,1lt/100km (which refers to 46 MPG in the UK) average MPG rate. Now we will focus on the most powerful engine, which is; 3.6 Macan Turbo PDK. It has got a six cylindered engine structure with a 3604 cm3 size. It is a petrol type engine which produces 400 Horsepower and 6000 RPM Torque. 3.6 has got a 11,5lt/100km (which refers to 25 MPG in the UK) fuel consumption in Urban usage. On the other hand, this fuel consumption rate decreasing to 7,5lt/100km (which refers to 38 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage. When we gather these two fuel consumption performance data, we get an 8,9lt/100km (which refers to 32 MPG in the UK) average fuel consumption rate.
