Peugeot 308 308 (2017-2020) Review
The Peugeot 308 is medium car, more specifically a hatchback.
With a modern design and a touch of French spirit and new technologies on board making the new model has a great value. The Peugeot i-Cockpit it’s a redesigned cockpit with easier to use functions, buttons and a new touchscreen.
The new Peugeot 308 can be equipped with one of the 3 engines available: 1.2 (Petrol), 1.6 (Petrol) and 1.6 HDI (Diesel).
The 308 model with the best fuel consumption is the Peugeot 308 BlueHDi with a factory value of 3.1 liters / 100km or 91 MPG (UK) - 76 MPG (US). This model runs on diesel and is equipped with a manual gearbox. More than that, this variation of 308 is also the one which has the best emission certification with only 82 g/km, a great value.
The Fastest Peugeot 308 is the Peugeot 308 THP GT (205 HP) which can reach a top speed of 235 km/h. Also, this model is the one which possesses the best acceleration in the 308 family with a value of 7.5 seconds (0-100 km/h). Of course, the 205 HP are enough to say that the 308 THP GT has the most powerful engine of all of them as well as the biggest size engine (1598 cm3).
The Peugeot 308 Hatchback has great fuel consumption, especially for the BlueHDi variation with 3.1 liters but the 308 THP GT is a very powerful car for a Peugeot. All in all, these models are great and the French company has made great improvements regarding the design of the car outside and inside. Also, new technologies have been implemented and with the i-Cockpit from Peugeot there are new functions and options available for the consumers’ needs.
