Select the motor type for the year.

In this review, we are going to take a closer look at the Nissan Qashqai. We will examine the details about the Nissan Qashqai under three main categories such as The Features of the Nissan Qashqai, The Fuel Consumption of the Nissan Qashqai and Basic Characteristics of Nissan Qashqai. These categories prepared for explaining the vehicle from any perspective. Before beginning the review, I would like to share some general information about the history of the Nissan Qashqai. The car is a Compact Crossover SUV manufactured by Japanese automaker Nissan since 2006. Although the car is known as Dualis in different markets, it is sold under the name Qashqai in most of the market. The car has a two-generation history, and the second generation was not offered for sale in Japan, although the brand is Japanese-based. The Qashqai, which was planned to replace the Nissan Mistral in the development process, has become much more than a simple replacement model for Nissan. With the car becoming one of the most important models of Nissan in the SUV segment, the production of the car continues.

The Features of the Nissan Qashqai

In this part of the review, we are going to focus on the features of the Nissan Qashqai. We can start with the exterior design of the Nissan Qashqai. When we focus on the exterior, we can say that the new generation Qashqai has a much more sporty and aggressive design compared to the previous generation. With more modern lines and sharper lines, the car has been adapted to today's design trends and looks much more aesthetically appealing. At the front, LED headlights and sharp-edged aerodynamic details transform the car from a bulky vehicle to a more dynamic SUV. When we look back, we see a first-generation Qashqai design that has been developed with light touches rather than radical changes. Now, we are moving on to the interior design of the Nissan Qashqai. When we look at the interior design of the Qashqai, we see a more standard concept. Assuming that most of the control mechanisms are gathered on the centre console, a driver-oriented cabin layout provides the driver with a much more comfortable driving experience. The colour choice, dominated by dark tones, makes the overall atmosphere of the cabin stylish and serious. The sports steering wheel strengthens the driver's connection with the car, while the spacious interior creates a spacious and fresh cabin space.

The Fuel Consumption of the Nissan Qashqai

Now, we are going to focus on the fuel consumption of the Nissan Qashqai. We usually work on popular engine types and making analyses on them by checking details for an efficient fuel consumption analysis. While choosing the right car, you need specific and simple information. That is why we are using this distinction method to make things easier for you. We use two main categories to make a useful distinction such as The Most Economical One and The Most Powerful One. Nissan Qashqai has got six standard engine varieties such as 1.2, 1.3, 1.5 dCi, 1.6, 1.6 dCi and 1.7 dCi. We are going to analyse two of them as the most economical and the most powerful one. We can start with the most economical one which is 1.5 dCi. It has got a four cylindered engine structure with a 1461 cm3 size. It is using a Diesel feed fuel system so we can say that it is a Diesel type engine. It can produce 115 HP and 3750 RPM Torque. According to the official factory data, 1.5 dCi has got a 4,0lt/100km (which refers to 71 MPG in the UK) mpg performance in Urban usage. However, this fuel consumption rate decreasing to 3,0lt/100km (which refers to 94 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage such as Highways or Long-Distance Trip. When we combine these mpg data, we get a 3,0lt/100km (which refers to 94 MPG in the UK) average mpg performance. Now we will focus on the most powerful engine, which is 1.6. It has got a four cylindered engine structure with a 1618 cm3 size. It is a Petrol Type Engine which produces 163 Horsepower and 5600 RPM Torque. 1.6 has got a 7,4lt/100km (which refers to 38 MPG in the UK) fuel consumption in Urban usage. On the other hand, this MPG rate decreasing to 4,8lt/100km (which refers to 59 MPG in the UK) in Extra Urban usage. When we gather these two fuel consumption data, we get a 5,8lt/100km (which refers to 49 MPG in the UK) average fuel consumption data.
